Flint Local 432, Downtown Flint’s all-ages anchor since 1985, offers a venue for musicians, artists, and fans of any age to experience professional quality events over 100 nights each year. This substance free space hosts live music, poetry, comedy, film, dance, theatre and more. Flint Local 432 is active on social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.
Local non-profit Red Ink Flint is pleased to announce its 2017 reception for all-ages youth arts venue Flint Local 432. What started as a one-time 30th birthday celebration for 432 has now become the annual Mixdown! 432’s Fall Foodie Friendraiser. Taking place at Factory Two, Flint’s community maker space, Mixdown will again feature a stellar range of chefs from Flint and across the nation. The celebration will feature a walk-around tasting of various eats and sweets, maker demonstrations, and craft beers from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, October 13th. The feast with be followed by the third annual Mixdown After-Party featuring live music and drinks at Churchills. This event is made possible with the support of Flint Food Works Culinary Director Sean Gartland and the resources of the culinary business incubator in the Flint Farmers Market.
